Typical Scope of Work:

The restaurant development business has moved to a much more sophisticated process over the years since we started in 1989. Most restaurant companies now put a large emphasis on research prior to development as a part of their real estate analysis process. TRG has developed processes for controlling development risks to the highest level that are integrated into our clients site evaluations and development budgets. Site Investigation Reports, including time requirements, associated fees and analysis of developer provided improvements are all keys to this process. TRG championed the use of these tools early on and this has proven to be an effective tool for our clients for many years.

Over the years, TRG has developed many different prototype restaurant construction document sets. These include everything from kiosk designs, QSR’s and full-service sit-down concepts. Additionally, TRG has done numerous specialty restaurants and clubs. Retail, grocery/pharmacy, and hotel/motel work have also been a mainstay of TRG.

In addition to complete building design, TRG does a large amount of site adaptations including full civil and landscape services over most of the US. Again, our integrated, full-service in-house design process streamlines the production and produces much tighter documents.

TRG’s civil department also does work for local and regional retail developers throughout the southeast. With registered civil engineers, registered land surveyors, and registered landscape architects, we can meet any need for civil/site plan development.
