About DeeDee

With over 35 years of experience in accounting, management and human resources, Deedee has developed a vast amount of knowledge in the industry. She began her career in the nonprofit sector in 1990, where she was hired as an accounting aide.

Since Deedee enjoys being busy, she took part-time evening jobs as a cashier & receptionist. After 10 years in the nonprofit industry, she went to work for the county government as an assistant bookkeeper. After a brief time at home with her firstborn, she entered the workforce in the railroad business. She started as a clerk and advanced to become a Business and Finance Manager, later assuming a dual role as Executive Assistant to the Vice President. During her time at the railroad, she developed numerous skills, including budgeting, event planning, training, process and procedure development, contract and grant management, leadership, and time management.

After her time in the railroad industry, she began working as a Business Office Manager in the Senior Living environment, where she gained knowledge in the Human Resources area. She acquired a more significant role in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and payroll while expanding the management area of her skill set. With her youngest in elementary school, she took an office position closer to home within a transportation company. Deedee’s years of learning and training have led her to The Roberts Group, PSC, where she completes accounting and human resource functions.
